PHRC made the 3 hour trek to Bairnsdale to fly our colours proudly in the 2024 Head of the Mitchell.  Racing consisted of two head races, 5km in the morning, followed by 3 km in the afternoon.  Our club fielded 8 crews, resulting in 5 Gold, 2 Silver and a 4th placing.  Staying by the lake at Metung, the club celebrated with dinner at the famous Metung Pub.  Later, thank's to Brenton's guidance, the guys staying on Brendon's island enjoyed prime viewing of the Aurora Australis.
