I'm delighted to inform you that the 2025 Pride Row will be held on the morning of Saturday the 15th of March from 10.30am, on the Yarra. This year's format is a 'round the island' paddle. The intent is for this to be a fun, inclusive, fundraising paddle for all clubs on the Yarra and nearby, to show support for Pride.
Register your interest here if you'd like to participate. All active rowing members are welcome; there is no limit on numbers. The more PHRC boats on the water the better! We'll allocate you into mixed boats. Please sign up via this form so we can start planning!
There will be a $10 per seat contribution which will go towards funding a full Pride Regatta next year. Wear something rainbow! We are investigating merch options which may include rainbow socks, a Pride t-shirt, and even 776 rainbow zooties for those interested.
After the paddle, YYRC will be hosting a Pride BBQ lunch and opening the bar for all participants so please plan to stick around and have a beer and some lunch to help make this a great event. More details and exact timings to follow.
You'll also notice on the Row for Pride image that 2 other events are being planned this year - Pride Sprints at the RV State Champs and at the RV Masters State Champs. More details on these events will come from RV soon (they'll be included on the regatta schedule), and we will provide more details as they become available.
